HealthCare Ministries is the international medical outreach of Assemblies of God World Missions. HCM partners with missionaries to bring teams of volunteer healthcare providers to overseas communities to hold short-term medical, dental, optical, and health teaching outreaches while connecting people to a community of faith.

The vision of HealthCare Ministries is that all people have access to His hope that heals spiritual, physical and emotional illnesses. We go beyond the stethoscope to listen to a person’s spiritual heartbeat through offering a compassionate touch to demonstrate God’s love.

HCM composes teams of a variety of volunteer healthcare professionals to serve on short-term outreaches all over the world. Our team members are healthcare providers who are followers of Christ, and they volunteer for our short-term (10-14 days) outreaches and utilize their skills to share God’s love.

HCM was founded in 1984 by Dr. Paul Williams. We have been to 89 different countries, held 447 outreaches, treated approximately 443,438 people, and have had the privilege of leading 95,059 in the prayer of salvation.*
