Along the Patuca River in Honduras lives a Miskito Indian girl named Enad. Enad lives in pain on a daily basis. Her tooth is growing into her nasal cavity. She urgently needs surgery, but in this small riverside community, she has no access to health care. The nearest medical clinicis 8 hours by boat, and few villagers can afford treatment. Enad’s family is no exception. Until…
In July, a 60-foot canoe lands on the banks of Wampusirpe, carrying a HealthCare Ministries team. By the grace of God, one of the team members is an oral surgeon. Dr. Yeny is thrilled to help.
Dr. Yeny also shares the good news of Jesus’ love. Enad listens in amazement; she is eager to give her life to such a good God. As Dr. Yeny performs the procedure, Enad stops her several times and asks her to pray with her.
When the surgery is over, Enad is delighted to know she can finally live pain-free. She is also excited to begin her new life as a follower of Jesus. Because of your faithful support, Enad can smile again. Because you gave, she can enjoy her life the way a young girl should. THANK YOU for making it possible for her not only to get the help she needs, but also to hear God lovers her so much He would send an oral surgeon to a tiny village in Honduras just to make her well!
