March 12

HCM currently has their first medical team (Team A) on the ground in Haiti based out of Port au Prince.  The team is being led by HCM's disaster response coordinator, Rick Salvato.  He reported that the team saw 235 patients on Thursday and at least 12 accepted Jesus into their hearts.  They are working in downtown Port au Prince today near a tent city.

Team A will complete their round of clinics by the end of this week.  Team B will arrive this coming weekend to set up more clinics in different locations for the next week.  Among the members of this team will be the superindendent of the Haitian American Fellowship of the Assemblies of God, Rev. Michael Beaudouin.  After Team B, Team C will come the following week and follow up at the locations Team A worked in.  The last week of March, Team D will arrive to follow up with the locations that Team B treated.

Rick Salvato will stay in Haiti through the Team B outreach. Mike O'Brien from HCM is leading Team B. HCM's director, Deborah Highfill, is leading Team C, and JoAnn Butrin, Director of International Ministries, is leading Team D.
