1. Nurses should be the first contact for the patients in the clinic to make the patient feel comfortable and respected.
  2. Always listen to the patient and show compassion with gentle touch as appropriate.
  3. See each patient through Jesus' eyes and look beyond what the patient initially expresses and be sensitive to cultural beliefs.
  4. Utilize good assessment skills to determine the chief medical need.
  5. Explain clearly the steps of each procedure, lab test and treatment.
  6. Focus on health education for long-term impact.
  7. Follow the lead of the Holy Spirit to show Christian love that will grow throughout the clinic experience.
  8. Always work within the scope of nursing practice.
